Started in 2004, Lavanya catered some of the most favored and savory Indian foods for small church events and to friends who were too busy to prepare food for their at-home functions and parties. As demand for their delectable dishes grew, Lavanya transformed itself into a fully functioning catering facility, serving and expanding their scope of events and people in and around the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan tri-State area.
Lavanya, unlike a restaurant, has taken the time to hone its skills in cooking delicious Indian foods through their attention to detail and knowledge of Indian spices and curries. Samples of our tasty and colorful dishes are made available upon request and at a nominal cost. We are conveniently located along the Washington Beltway (I-495), and easily accessible to any location provided by our customers.
